From guests

What the week
actually feels like.

The Two-Night Restore was beautifully structured — a sound bath in the pine garden at sunset I still think about. One small thing: the wifi is intentionally spotty in the rooms, which I should have known.

Mornings are silent until eleven and I resented it for exactly one day. By Thursday I was going to bed at nine and waking without an alarm for the first time in years.

Twelve guests means you learn everyone’s name by the second dinner and nobody asks what you do for work. Theodora sets that tone on the first evening.
