Six things
that change what we recommend.
- Pregnancy
- Pregnancy massage is offered in the second and third trimester, side-lying. The hammam is not recommended at any stage — the heat is sustained and we will not make an exception.
- Recent surgery
- Tell us about anything in the last six months. Depending on the site and the healing we will adapt, delay, or recommend against.
- Cardiovascular conditions
- The hammam and cold plunge place real demand on the heart. Talk to us before booking and bring your doctor’s view with you.
- Allergies and medication
- Skin allergies matter for every product we use, and some medication changes how skin responds to heat and to extraction. Both go on the questionnaire.
- What happens to the form
- Stored in a locked cabinet at reception, scanned to an encrypted local drive after thirty days, and deleted after three years.
- What is said during a treatment
- Stays there. The confidentiality agreement covers conversation as well as health information.
