Hammam-led spa · Sithonia, Halkidiki
Forty kilometres
of pine.
One door.
A hammam-led spa and wellness retreat seven minutes outside Nikiti. Open since 2017. No phones beyond the threshold.
Slow rituals, restored calm
Serenity does one thing well — water, warmth, hands. No membership, no retail wall, no upsell at the door. Treatments run in two‑ and four‑hour formats because bodies do not unclench on a thirty‑minute schedule.
Eleni & Theodora Vouros · founders, since 2017
Four doors
Four ways into stillness.
Every visit begins with one of four entry rituals. From there we tailor the rest — heat, hands, skin, or silence.
Hammam Rituals
Forty minutes inside the marble. Salt scrub, black-soap foam wash, cold plunge.
02
Massage
Two- and four-hand sessions, table or floor, basalt warmed in pine water.
03
Facials & Skin
Halkidiki honey, rose otto, slow extraction, hot-cloth cleanse.
04
Sound & Breath
Sound bath in the pine garden, breath work, and the Temple Hour.

Since 2017
Two sisters opened
the door in spring.
One was a London-trained aromatherapist with eleven years inside the spa team at Claridge’s. The other a civil engineer who came home to Halkidiki to restore her father’s 1954 stone winery. The first treatment room was a barrel cellar. The hammam arrived from Bursa, plate by plate.
Eight years on there are fourteen daybeds, six treatment rooms, two hammams, and one rule: nothing rushed. Eleni still takes the 09:00 hammam herself. They call it the temple hour.
The menu
Six rituals we are
quietly proud of.
A small selection from the full treatment menu. Each is bookable on its own or inside a half-day pass.
- The Hammam Ritual Marble heat, black-soap foam wash, salt scrub, cold plunge.
- Aegean Stone Massage Basalt warmed in pine water, deep pressure through the back.
- The Halkidiki Honey Facial Resurfacing, hot-cloth cleanse, manuka mask warmed in copper.
- Olive & Rose Lymphatic Slow drainage with cold-pressed olive oil and rose otto.
- The Pine Garden Sound Bath Outdoors, sunset slot, six guests, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
- The Temple Hour Private hammam. No therapist. Heat, marble, and silence.
The day-spa pass
A day at Serenity.
You arrive at 10:00 or 14:00, change into a linen robe in the cedar locker room, and the rest of the day belongs to you. Fourteen guests across the whole property. We do not double-book daybeds.
- Hammam access and the cold plunge
- A daybed in the pine garden, yours all day
- Herbal tea brewed on the hour
- Light lunch from the kitchen — vegetarian, mostly raw
- One 90-minute treatment of your choice
- A pine resin balm to take home

The team
The hands you’ll meet.
Six therapists, two estate keepers, one chef. Most have been here since the second year.

Unedited
What guests have said.
Calliope’s hammam ritual is the most precise piece of bodywork I have had in twenty years. The salt scrub was hot, almost too hot, and then the foam wash dropped me into something close to sleep.
Eleni met us at the door with a cold tea and a single sentence — no phones beyond here. Two hours later we were in the pine garden eating slices of fig and not speaking. Worth the flight.
I booked The Temple Hour at 09:00 every day of a four-day stay. Sixty minutes alone in the marble, no music, just the boiler in the next room. The cheapest treatment on the menu and the one I recommend to everyone.
