Slow Living
We do not run tight schedules. A two-hour treatment can become two and a half if the body needs it.

What we have
written so far.
What we mean by it
Slow is a decision,
not an atmosphere.
- No thirty-minute slots
- The shortest thing on the menu is forty-five minutes and most of it runs to two hours. Bodies do not unclench on a schedule built for turnover.
- Treatments can overrun
- A two-hour treatment can become two and a half if the body needs it. The therapist decides that, not the diary.
- Mornings stay silent
- On retreats, nobody speaks until eleven. It is the single change guests resent most on day one and miss most on day four.
- The wifi is bad on purpose
- We made the signal worse in the stone wing and left it that way. Two guests have complained in eight years.
