A linen robe on a wooden hook in a quiet room

Before you arrive

Your first time
at Serenity.

Nothing here is a test. This page exists so that the twenty minutes before your treatment are spent drinking tea rather than working out what happens next.

What to expect

The first thirty minutes.

Arrive half an hour before your treatment. We greet you with cold mountain tea and a short health questionnaire, you change into a linen robe in the cedar locker room, and your therapist meets you in the pine garden.

They will walk you through the room, explain the sequence, and confirm pressure preferences before anything begins. If something is not working halfway through, say so — we would much rather change it.

  • Cold mountain tea and a health questionnaire
  • A linen robe, slippers, and a key-coded locker
  • Your therapist walks you through the room
  • Pressure confirmed before and during

What to bring

Nothing at all.

Robes, slippers, towels, and a paper kimono for the hammam are all provided. Lockers are key-coded and we recommend leaving valuables at home.

In the hammam a paper kimono is provided. Swimwear is welcome but not required for single bookings; for couples and groups, swimwear is required.

Marble bath and local products

House rules

Three quiet rules.

Phones stay at reception.

Phones are not permitted beyond the reception threshold. We provide a small key-coded locker and you are welcome to step outside to take a call at any time.

The pine garden is a silent zone.

Silent between 11:00 and 14:00 and again after 18:00. Conversation is welcome in the entrance, the kitchen, and the library.

No shoes, no jewellery in the hammam.

The hammam floor is heated marble and jewellery gets hot. Everything goes in the locker before you go in.

Health disclosure.

Please tell us in advance about pregnancy, surgery in the last six months, cardiovascular conditions, skin allergies, or current medication. This is used only to tailor treatment and avoid contraindications, and it is kept confidential.

Cancellations.

Free up to 48 hours before. Within 48 hours we charge 50%; within 24 hours or a no-show, the full price. Rescheduling is free with 48 hours’ notice.

Access

Tell us what you need.

Reception, the café, the library and four of the six treatment rooms are step-free. The second hammam is step-free; the first is reached by three steps. Write at least 72 hours ahead and we will arrange the day around it.
